Description
Part of our new collection for 2021 “Iconic Megafauna”. The work was produced between 2018 and 2021 al around Australia and Indonesia. The agile wallaby (Macropus agilis) is a medium-size marsupial of the genus Macropus formed by 13 species of kangaroos, wallaroos and wallabies found in northern Australia and New Guinea. It is the most common wallaby in Australia’s north. The agile wallaby is a sandy colour, becoming paler below. It is sometimes solitary and at other times sociable and grazes on grasses and other plants. It is not considered threatened.
